Newbies

Yesterday we went on a long drive to Berwick Upon Tweed in England to pick up my new friends. Honey and Maisie who is now called Daisy because mummy says there can only be one Maisy and when they made me they broke the mould, what she means by that I don't know. Mummy also says I am probably one of the most well travelled pet rats in the country. I've covered a lot of miles in my short life.

Mummy was not very happy at me the other night because I bit her. Well she did say that her toe had stopped hurting, I thought that was a bad thing so I wanted to fix things for her. I was only trying to be helpful. I also tried to give her a new piercing in her ear as well but that wasn't well received either. I think someone needs to buy me a Ouija Board for Christamas so I can ask Majeeka's advise on how to get this rat behaviour thing correct. Now I'm responsible for teaching 2 newbies, what on earth is my mother thinking. She believes in me. I can only try.

Sad news

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the loss of my step sister Majeeka. She passed away at about 3.15pm on Tuesday 8th November at home with mummy. I miss her and mummy keeps crying. I'm really happy that she had so much fun in the past month of her life. The trip to Aberdeen at the beginning of October and coming back via Dundee, getting sneaked into Wetherspoons and visiting Auntie Lorraine. She told me she had so much fun running around Auntie Lorraine's house, exploring. We stayed over last Thursday with Auntie Lorraine and had so much fun. We both tried to help mummy drive the car on the Playstation. Majeeka began feeling unwell on Friday night and pooed on Auntie Lorraine's sofa, Auntie Lorraine was really upset and Majeeka and mummy were so embarrassed. Auntie Lorraine said that She forgave Majeeka and she was welcome back, that was really nice of her. Mummy still feels bad about the whole thing, especially as it was the beginning of the end but none of us at that point realised it. Once Majeeka was cleaned up we were banished to the carrier. I hope mummy and me can still visit Auntie Lorraine sometimes and that she might come to our house to visit us.

At the moment mummy is searching for a new friend for me, so if she finds one I will update and let you know. Mummy has been leaving her room door open for me at night because she doesn't want me to be lonely during the night. So on Wednesday morning I went and jumped all over her at about 6am but she wasn't too impressed because I woke her up and she told me not to wake her up at 6am again. So on Thursday morning I made it a bit earlier, 5.15am . . . Mummy said to me I thought I told you not to wake me up this early and I said no you said I wasn't to wake you at 6am again and I didn't. She wasn't very impressed I have no idea why????

Mummy and I are going to watch Auntie Lorraine on TV at 3.50am tomorrow, do you think she'd be happy me waking her up at that time. Nah, she can set her alarm.

Well until next time. RIP my darling step sister, love you loads XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
