My step sister is not very well. I really want her to get better but I'm loving the extra treats we are getting as a result of it.
We have a big spider called Goliath here today. We don't see him often but he's hung around all day today, he looked like a wall decoration, he's now moved up towards the corner of the livingroom. I think this is the longest he has stayed for. None of us know where he lives, he just appears occasionally.
We are going to see auntie Lorraine tomorow, so looking forward to it. She has got some magic tablets for Majeeka, so we will see if she gets better with them. Mummy also got some Echinacea/Goldenseal to try as she read that it can be helpful to ratties (and humans) with respiratory isues. I'll keep you updated.

Close shave!!
Majeeka gave everyone a fright on Sunday, including herself. She was choking and had started turning blue and mummy grabbed both of us and put us in the carrier (I was just in the middle of a lovely dream about visiting the boys!!!) We rushed out to the emergency vets with me looking after Majeeka on the journey and letting mummy know that she was still breathing. By the time we reached our destination, Majeeka had dislodged whatever she had been choking on and was more of a healthy colour again. She was also eating, so feeling much better. Mummy let the vets know we wouldn't be needing their services anymore and we came home. I slept in the carrier for the rest of the day so I could look after Majeeka and make sure she was ok.
We went to the real vets on Monday to get Majeeka checked out. Needless to say I kept a low profile. She checked out fine and later on we begged mummy to give us fresh pea fishing. Now harmony is restored.

Fun weekend!!
We had a super weekend. We went for a really long drive up to Aberdeen, stopping off in a lovely cafe called Peggy Scott's who didn't mind mummy taking us in with her and thought we were lovely. The hotel next door that mummy had first taken us into were really rude about the carrier never mind the 'contents' so mummy stormed out.
We got to Aberdeen just after 6pm and mummy put us down got ready and then left with her friends. We had lots of fun chatting to the other rats. I won't bore you with the details of our conversation. We slept in our carrier beside mummy, Claire and Helen. Next day we didn't stay too long as mummy had a long way to drive and we were stopping off a couple of times on the way home.
First stop was Dundee. Mummy and her friend went to Wetherspoons for something to eat. Before we left mummy and her friend went to the toilet and a lady who worked there said to mummy "Is that a cat in there" mummy told her no, the lady said that was ok as they weren't allowed animals in there. Silly human, mummy wasn't exactly carrying an empty carrier now was she.
Last stop on the way home was Auntie Lorraine's Majeeka went exploring and for a while I just found a spot and relaxed, after a quick cuddle with Auntie Lorraine. I've seen it all before and besides there was chocalate in the same room, would have been silly for both of us to go exploring as we might have both lost out on the chocolate. I just shouted on Majeeka to come get some when it became available. After the chocolate and a catchup with Randy and Joe, I thought I'd go and have a quick nosey round just for old times sake. We had fun. It was nice just to get out of the carrier for a little while. Auntie Lorraine said we can go back whenever we want. Looking forward to that. Hopefully Auntie Lorraine will come visit us too.
