Well, I'm feeling much better. My fur is groing back and my wounds have pretty much completely healed. My stitches are alsmost all out, they blend in with my fur this time rather than standing out, though the purple was a pretty colour.
The newbies are settling in well and getting cheekier by the day. Mummy has nicknamed them, the Cheeky Girls. They have grew somewhat since they got here, both lengthways and widthways. Mummy thinks they were younger than their previous owner claimed they were. They have also caused way more destruction than I ever did. Not that I'm smug about that or anything :)
Until next time MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! XX

Ouchie!!!
Well it has been about a week and a half since I had my operation to remove 3 lumps, boy did it sting. The cheeky girls (as mummy refers to them) and myself stayed overnight at the vets, It wasn't very exciting as there were no humans and we were shut in the carrier all night. I missed my own bed and the freedom to get up and down when I pleased.
I'm glad to get my jumper off this time, it was more like a polo neck. It felt so nice to have a chew at my stitches. Mummy's face was a picture and it made me wish that I knew how to operate a camera. Mummy got some pictures of me instead.

Newbies
Yesterday we went on a long drive to Berwick Upon Tweed in England to pick up my new friends. Honey and Maisie who is now called Daisy because mummy says there can only be one Maisy and when they made me they broke the mould, what she means by that I don't know. Mummy also says I am probably one of the most well travelled pet rats in the country. I've covered a lot of miles in my short life.
Mummy was not very happy at me the other night because I bit her. Well she did say that her toe had stopped hurting, I thought that was a bad thing so I wanted to fix things for her. I was only trying to be helpful. I also tried to give her a new piercing in her ear as well but that wasn't well received either. I think someone needs to buy me a Ouija Board for Christamas so I can ask Majeeka's advise on how to get this rat behaviour thing correct. Now I'm responsible for teaching 2 newbies, what on earth is my mother thinking. She believes in me. I can only try.

Sad news
It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the loss of my step sister Majeeka. She passed away at about 3.15pm on Tuesday 8th November at home with mummy. I miss her and mummy keeps crying. I'm really happy that she had so much fun in the past month of her life. The trip to Aberdeen at the beginning of October and coming back via Dundee, getting sneaked into Wetherspoons and visiting Auntie Lorraine. She told me she had so much fun running around Auntie Lorraine's house, exploring. We stayed over last Thursday with Auntie Lorraine and had so much fun. We both tried to help mummy drive the car on the Playstation. Majeeka began feeling unwell on Friday night and pooed on Auntie Lorraine's sofa, Auntie Lorraine was really upset and Majeeka and mummy were so embarrassed. Auntie Lorraine said that She forgave Majeeka and she was welcome back, that was really nice of her. Mummy still feels bad about the whole thing, especially as it was the beginning of the end but none of us at that point realised it. Once Majeeka was cleaned up we were banished to the carrier. I hope mummy and me can still visit Auntie Lorraine sometimes and that she might come to our house to visit us.
At the moment mummy is searching for a new friend for me, so if she finds one I will update and let you know. Mummy has been leaving her room door open for me at night because she doesn't want me to be lonely during the night. So on Wednesday morning I went and jumped all over her at about 6am but she wasn't too impressed because I woke her up and she told me not to wake her up at 6am again. So on Thursday morning I made it a bit earlier, 5.15am . . . Mummy said to me I thought I told you not to wake me up this early and I said no you said I wasn't to wake you at 6am again and I didn't. She wasn't very impressed I have no idea why????
Mummy and I are going to watch Auntie Lorraine on TV at 3.50am tomorrow, do you think she'd be happy me waking her up at that time. Nah, she can set her alarm.
Well until next time. RIP my darling step sister, love you loads XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Majeeka
My step sister is not very well. I really want her to get better but I'm loving the extra treats we are getting as a result of it.
We have a big spider called Goliath here today. We don't see him often but he's hung around all day today, he looked like a wall decoration, he's now moved up towards the corner of the livingroom. I think this is the longest he has stayed for. None of us know where he lives, he just appears occasionally.
We are going to see auntie Lorraine tomorow, so looking forward to it. She has got some magic tablets for Majeeka, so we will see if she gets better with them. Mummy also got some Echinacea/Goldenseal to try as she read that it can be helpful to ratties (and humans) with respiratory isues. I'll keep you updated.

Close shave!!
Majeeka gave everyone a fright on Sunday, including herself. She was choking and had started turning blue and mummy grabbed both of us and put us in the carrier (I was just in the middle of a lovely dream about visiting the boys!!!) We rushed out to the emergency vets with me looking after Majeeka on the journey and letting mummy know that she was still breathing. By the time we reached our destination, Majeeka had dislodged whatever she had been choking on and was more of a healthy colour again. She was also eating, so feeling much better. Mummy let the vets know we wouldn't be needing their services anymore and we came home. I slept in the carrier for the rest of the day so I could look after Majeeka and make sure she was ok.
We went to the real vets on Monday to get Majeeka checked out. Needless to say I kept a low profile. She checked out fine and later on we begged mummy to give us fresh pea fishing. Now harmony is restored.

Fun weekend!!
We had a super weekend. We went for a really long drive up to Aberdeen, stopping off in a lovely cafe called Peggy Scott's who didn't mind mummy taking us in with her and thought we were lovely. The hotel next door that mummy had first taken us into were really rude about the carrier never mind the 'contents' so mummy stormed out.
We got to Aberdeen just after 6pm and mummy put us down got ready and then left with her friends. We had lots of fun chatting to the other rats. I won't bore you with the details of our conversation. We slept in our carrier beside mummy, Claire and Helen. Next day we didn't stay too long as mummy had a long way to drive and we were stopping off a couple of times on the way home.
First stop was Dundee. Mummy and her friend went to Wetherspoons for something to eat. Before we left mummy and her friend went to the toilet and a lady who worked there said to mummy "Is that a cat in there" mummy told her no, the lady said that was ok as they weren't allowed animals in there. Silly human, mummy wasn't exactly carrying an empty carrier now was she.
Last stop on the way home was Auntie Lorraine's Majeeka went exploring and for a while I just found a spot and relaxed, after a quick cuddle with Auntie Lorraine. I've seen it all before and besides there was chocalate in the same room, would have been silly for both of us to go exploring as we might have both lost out on the chocolate. I just shouted on Majeeka to come get some when it became available. After the chocolate and a catchup with Randy and Joe, I thought I'd go and have a quick nosey round just for old times sake. We had fun. It was nice just to get out of the carrier for a little while. Auntie Lorraine said we can go back whenever we want. Looking forward to that. Hopefully Auntie Lorraine will come visit us too.

Weekend visits
Well tomorrow it is off to Aberdeen we go. I'm looking forward to going on the trip. Not sure if we will be going to see Auntie Lorraine on Sunday now, which I am really sad about. Get well soon Auntie Lorraine xx
Mummy said we might stop off in Dundee on the way up as long as it's not raining, so that she can stretch her legs and we can all get some fresh air. It's going to be a fun adventure. Majeeka told me about the time mummy took her and Revel into a cafe and the shopping centre in Stirling so hopefully she will do something fun like that with me too.
Mummy has got 2 weeks off work so hopefully we will all get to spend some more time together doing fun stuff. Will update again Sunday night with our adventures over the weekend.

BOYS!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!! It's all about the boys this weekend. Mummy told me I will be meeting Montana this weekend. Majeeka tells me he's cute. Then on Sunday I get to introduce Majeeka to MY boys. Oh, I'm so excited. So looking forward to seeing Auntie Lorraine and the boys.
Thought I'd share a cute picture that I allowed mummy to take of me last night.

Sneaky
Mummy tried to take a picture of me and Majeeka last night but I had other ideas. I will decide when she can take pictures of me.
Majeeka jumped off the couch last night into mummy's coffee cup last night but there wasn't as much coffee in the cup as there was when I did it, she said it hurt her head. The advantage was she didn't get quite as wet as me. Mummy then gave us both loads of cuddles. Life is good!!
Mummy is taking us to visit her friends and Auntie Lorraine next weekend. It's going to be so much fun. The only time we normally go out is to go to the vets, so it wil be nice to go somewhere different.

It was a doddle!!
Me? Scared? Of the vets? Whatever gave you that idea? There was nothing to it, just a little prick and it was all over. I didn't cry because I'm a big girl. Majeeka still has one more to go *cough* thank goodness it isn't me *cough*
Nothing more to report today. Mostly been sleeping. Mummy is sitting waiting for Majeeka to wake up to give her her bath as Marslaidh, our vet, has said she has to now have daily baths with her special shampoo. As long as she keeps it away from me I won't complain.

Good and bad!!
One minute I'm in the good books, next minute I'm in the bad books. I was in the good books when mumy came home as I was sitting on top of my bed, waiting for her to come in from work. She said hi and kissed me on top of my head. She then went and put dinner on and a few other things then she came over and gave me cuddles. It felt nice. Then she went to get showered came out had dinner gave some to Majeeka and me. She then sat down on the couch. She then got up again very quickly. Well if nature calls . . . Sometimes I just like to wind her up. I know she loves me really.. I went over to her feet and begged her forgiveness. She picked me up and gave me a cuddle and kisses.
Until next time hehehehe!!!!
Oh bugger, I forgot, I've got the vets in the morning. I'm sure she'll be standing thinking "Revenge is sweet" *sniff*

Happiness
I had my mummy worried earlier, she thought maybe she had thrown me out with the rubbish but I was hiding. Don't think mummy was too impressed with me, she said she was worried but I got a chocolate drop out of it.
Auntie Lorraine came to visit today, It was great to see her again. Majeeka really enjoyed meeting her too. I was sleeping when she left, mummy said they were looking all over for me. I was lying beside Majeeka so how they couldn't see me I don't know. Mummy said we can go visit Auntie Lorraine soon, and the boys.

HMPH!!
Mummy can't stop laughing at me!! I jumped up onto the couch for some scritches, then jumped up on mummy's lap. She stroked my back and I headed to the end of her knee and jumped down . . . head first straight into her mug of coffee!!! I got all wet and had brown bits on my lovely fur. I am now clean again and I will be keeping an eye out in future for those coffee mugs.

Welcome!!
I'd just like to welcome you to my blog. I may not post every day but I will try to post at least once a week to update my followers on what has been happening in my life over the week.
This week I will start from last Thursday. Mummy took my sister and me to see our vet as we have suspected mites. I think they prefer Majeeka's blood to mine. Poor Majeeka is looking a bit rough at the moment. We got an injection of Ivermec. IT HURT!!! Majeeka says I was being a big baby. She said she hardly felt anything. We have to go back for a second shot next Monday. I am NOT looking forward to that.
Auntie Lorraine is coming to visit on Saturday, so we are looking forward to that. I haven't seen her since the end of June and Majeeka hasn't met her yet.
Till next time . . .
